The Aruba College Fair Foundation (ACFF) is a non-profit organisation founded in 2002 with the aim of bringing the world of college, university and vocational school representatives to all Aruban students.
The first Aruba College Fair took place in the year 2000 as a project from and under the auspices of the Minister of Education, Mrs. Mary S.F. Wever-Laclé. The project received much accolades from the community in general, but also and in particular from the students and their parents. Minister Wever-Laclé decided that Aruba College Fair (ACF) must become a recurring event as it brought valuable information to the students seeking a higher education and it gave them a venue in which they were able to ask the educational institution’s representatives questions on the school itself, the city, the courses, possible career prospectives, student life, and the list goes on. To remove this very important event from any political affiliation, Minister Wever-Laclé placed it in the hands of private individuals, hence, the birth of Aruba College Fair Foundation.
ACFF’s board members are all professionals in different fields. They operate as fully committed volunteers in their free time to organise this event.
